If you half-tuck, you are being casual without being a slob.
So, all the way in or all the way out for you?

Additionally, if you half tuck, you get to look like you're trying desperately to be stylish and trendy, while failing miserably at both....
If you're having a pumpkin peach ale, the half tuck might look good with your dainty glass....
I don't think aybody who's built more corpulent than slim should tuck any shirt other than a dress shirt with tie. The stuffed sausage look is horrible. It's of course up to anyone to choose to not care or to even like that look, but I find it awful.
The half tuck works in my opinion because I like asymmetry in clothing. For example, I love side button shirts, vests and side zipper jackets. The half tuck looks often fine with t-shirts, Polo, Henley and casual button shirts, because it avoids the stuffy buttoned up look without looking totally slobby. It doesn't look always good and not on everyone, and I understand if someone doesn't like it. I never tuck t-shirts, they are either un- or half-tucked, but I do tuck dress shirts. Casual shirts are either tucked or untucked and then also unbuttoned, with a t-shirt underneath.
But this isn't why I started the thread. I simply wanted to know who was aware of the half-tuck. For some that's trolling, I gather.
