I have the fluid evacuator mentioned above. Great product however, for rear end oil it can be messy. Due to the high viscocity of these fluids if you over pressurize the tank the tubing can be forced out of the tank and cause a real mess. However, it really does work well, especially for transmissions with no drain plug, syphons it out and pumps it back in as well
Do I really have to change rear differential fluid?

I would change the fluid. after all you paied what over 30 grand for the so called truck (sorry cant call it a truck). so why not change the fluid when its called for. i figured never to change the fluid in my auto. but had the dealer do it and adjust the bands in it and its like a different truck. the fluid in my diffs and transfer case are next when the weather gets warm. it will make the parts last longer with fresh clean fluid. after all you leave the same oil in your engine? its the same thing as with your diffs. they work better and last longer with new fluid.
Oh, BTW, 130 for a fluid change seems pricey. The fluid itself is no more than 20 dollars. We charge 69.95 for a drain and refill at our dealership, and our prices are somewhat high. All you need to change it is a drain pan for the old fluid and a fluid pump to get the new stuff in. If you have changed oil before this shouldnt be a problem to handle. Capacity is about 2/3 of a 1 gallon bottle.
Thanks for the inside info Acura Tech. I guess the price of $130 was for the entire B6 service which includes tire rotation and oil/filter as well as the rear differential drain and fill. Yep, thanks to the tips I've gotten here I will get me a pump and do this thing myself.
Here's a little trick I thought I would share. I had 2 problems with gear oil bottles when trying to fill the diff with a hose on the pointy end supplied:
1. The hose would always fall off;
2. The bottle had to be pointing down otherwise you're just pushing air.
This little trick solves both of those problems. Just cut the pointy spout until the hose barely fits through it, then feed enough hose into the bottle so it reaches the bottom. Slip a gear clamp over the outside and this baby holds pressure.
It is helpful to heat the gear oil as has been suggested above.

Yeah, I know the CR-V is similar w/ it's viscous clutch setup. But it uses Honda Dual Pump Fluid and only has to be changed every 60k miles. In the case of the V, when the fluid goes bad, you'll start to hear a howl whenever you turn corners. I replaced the fluid and it went right away.
