By the way, I still have no sense if my toluene/naphtha mix as 50/50 would have helped anymore than just going straight with Xylene which was much more readily available in my local area.
For people reading in the future, the entire reason I got down the toluene/napththa path was based on the original formulation in Scotty Kilmer's video from years ago what was in the version of 'lacquer thinner' that he used then.
I do not know how to advise on this because I simply do not know the chemistry well enough or what is actually the key components to causing the positive effect.
For those that hold this never works, I would caution that there is just too many online posting on how this worked for them. Having said that, in no way do I think this will work for everyone. Even Scotty Kilmer has said the same.
