Yeah, it’s on clearance, so getting rid of old stock, so not all places would have all items.

Looks like Nulon is rolling out the new API SP stuff with different branding and new labels.

At Repco for the next few days,

Shell Helix HX7 10W-40 semi-synthetic

API SN-Plus, ACEA A3/B4,
Half price, $29 for 5L.

At AutoBarn to 11 May,
20% off Cooper oil and air filters,
20% off Eyon wiper blade assembly,
15% off K&N oil and air filters,
25% off Castrol DOT4 Brake Fluid.

At Repco in Oz, until 23 May.

Penrite HPR5 (5W40) full synthetic,
API SP, ACEA A3/B4, MB 229.5,
40% Off, $55 for 6L.

Castrol GTX 10W30 UltraClean semi-synthetic,
SN & GF-5,
25% Off, $38 for 5L.

FWIW: I think the hpr is still over priced. Penrite oils have been $ pumped too high pre discount.
Unless they get sensible priced deals, I won't be buying them again.
I found the fullsyn 10w40 to give my Pajero a sluggish rpm response, and minor increase in fuel consumption, relative to other same wt. oils. The 10w40 Gulf Western full syn, spins up better...YMMV

At AutoBarn in Australia, 14 May to 4 June.

Nulon Apex+ 5W30 LongLife, full synthetic,
API SP, GF-6A, Dexos1-Gen3,
For Members it's 60% Off at $30 for 5L.

Regular price is $75, but it's free to join, and that brings the price down to $30. I assume they will send you email spam or similar, but I think you can opt out of the advertising once you join.

I've used the previous Nulon 5W30 Long Life synthetic (Dexos1-Gen2) and it seems like a good oil. I looked it up on the GM-Dexos website and it was listed, so a real license. I just looked up the new Apex+ oil and it listed as well (D1G3), so you know it's well made.

I liked the Nulon 5w30, still have a 6L jug.. Good oil IMHO..
Well worth picking up a few at that $

Almost everything is overpriced now days, like GTX 15W40 is $55 and Edge 5W30 A3/B4 is $75 to $85 (for 5L) full price. Plus the sales and discounts aren't as good as they used to be either. Harder to find good prices now days.

Lucky I stocked up earlier! 😀

I hear you about the Gulf Western, just yesterday I did an oil change in the Astra with their 10W30 semi-synthetic (API SP & GF-6A) that I picked up at $10 for 5L a few years ago. I got a couple at that price.

Yes, I liked the older Nulon 5W30 (D1-G2) full synthetic. I've got two 5L jugs in the oil stash waiting. That Nulon 5W30 is what I had in the Astra, before I did a oil change yesterday and put the Gulf Western 10W30 in.

I'm tempted by the new Apex+ (D1-G3), it's a great price, but I've got ample 5W30 on hand, for the Astra.

My X-Trail really likes 5W40, I've got Helix Ultra in there right now, I'm waiting for the next Shell sale so I can stock up on that. Or some Nulon 10W40 FastFlow synthetic. That's probably what I'm chasing right now.

Good deal (for 2023!) on Penrite Racing 10w40 and 15w50 from 999racing on ebay - stacking discounts with ebay plus bring it down to the $60 per bottle mark.

Good deal @ Autobarn well spec'd diesel oil.
25L drums for $109. Picked up 2. Suits almost every thing I run.

GULF WESTERN 15W40 XDO

I've resurfaced from the woodwork! Almost depleted my stash from years ago. I abstained from oil purchases for so long. 3 years sober from bargain purchases.

Noticed oil prices have increased along with everything else in this country! I'll stay tuned to this thread and the catalogues in the mail 😁

How so cheap?? Looked at their site and their prices are much higher.

I was wearing my work uniform, so perhaps they gave me trade price or something? I was only going to get one bottle, but when old mate told me the price I grabbed three;) They sell it in their servo next door on the shelf for $49.95/5L, so pretty cheap even at retail.

Autobarn have Castrol Edge 5W30 A3/B4 for $60/5L if you buy two. I might buy four.
