Did I pull a GON, buying this Mercedes S-class?

I have a friend who buys these type of cars as throw aways typically $5k-$10k. Does not repair them and drives for 6 months to a couple years and gets another.

He’d be all over this one, nice find.

Yes, the car you purchased is a S550. The "AMG sport package" is simply cosmetic. A buyer pulling off the S550 factory badging and putting on the AMG badging is something one can read into when trying to understand the prior owner's mentality....

Your financial risk on this purchase went down significantly with the car being a S550, when compared to a 2013 S class AMG.

S class is designed like a fine watch. Aftermarket wheels ruin the balance/ ride of the S class. ATIKOVI needs to put the OEM wheels back on, along with Michelin, Continentals, or Bridgestone.
I wouldn't have noticed it, letalone bought it, if it had OEM wheels.

Hopefully those aftermarket wheels sells faster than your Ford trailer hitch you had listed on Ebay for +/- 20 years. Four 22" rims take up a lot of space.

Your right. Everyone noticed it, but not everyone is looking at it thinking it looks nice. Personally I like aftermarket wheels, get some that suit the car, in a nice fitment and you can improve the visual appeal of the vehicle. I think this has been missed like a baby trying to hit a target with a water pistol.
