Is Case Hytrans that much better than the mobile Delvac tractor fluid?

No.

Tractor hydraulics on the name brand level perform all very well. You have minor differences between Infineum vs Lubrizol vs Afton add packs. But on a standard tractor fluid, it’s very similar.

Case is now made by Shell. Used to be made by a smaller blender in MN.

Use it. You’re good to go.

I can not say which is better but any proper spec fluidsfrom one of the majors. Shell, Chevron, Mobil etc. should be good. I have been using The Mobli Delvac 424? /Delvac for the past 19 years in my tractor . Next summer is time for another trans change for me and again I will run the Mobil .
