What exact testing did he do? I could not figure it out from the post.

BTW, I'm glad there was VOA on Ultimate Durability. I looked for it last night and couldn't find it.

Thanks for the thread, that guy did alot of work. I think like always if your favorite did not fair better than GTX lets say faults of the report will appear. Much like the Consumer Report re. dino and syn NY taxi cabs. Good to see dino even beating out not by much but, still some of the super stars here on BITOG.Nothing like real life results but still report gets you thinking. Valvoline weak add package, yet held its own in dino.

He didn't say so, but it sounds like a Timken test, which is not relevant to engine operation. It was designed to test gear oils.

I just hate when you are confonted with data... love when a guy takes a picture with the valve cover off has no idea what oil was used what the oci were or even who owned it!! Now thats more like it!!!!

This data stuff can make you conclude and Nobody on the internet wants that IMHO.
