Any such animal as a deep well nut driver? I need 7/16" that will be used a lot.

Snap-On makes hand held nut drivers all the way up to 5/8". You can get one and if it's not deep enough for your application you can drill out the inside of the shank to a larger diameter. I knew guys who had done that when I was in the car audio business.

Buy a 1/4" drive deep well socket, a driver handle for it and some epoxy.....
Do not ruin a good tool avoiding the warranty.Try finding a cheap nutdriver and drilling it out.
This isn't for home use, so it doesn't need to look like I made it in my backyard.
would a hollow shaft nut driver fit your needs or do you need the entire shaft to be hex?

That will work. We had originally ordered nutdrivers from McMaster, but they must have shipped the wrong items, or it got messed up in procurement.
