Deal-breakers when you're dating

After recent experience with someone I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, I'll add mine:

Relies heavily on text messaging for communication

Pushes for marriage commitment after dating less than a month

Big on materialism, low on funds, and financially irresponsible

Lack of maturity

There are very few women on this forum.

1. Smoking of anything.
2. Excessive drinking.
3. Daddy's girl.
4. On her cell phone all the dang time.
5. Sleazy.
6. Easy.
7. Door-mat with other peoples children as a result.
8. Doesn't use proper English, ie ain't. Drives me nuts.
9. Children, sorry I'm not there yet.
10. Financially insecure.
11. Poor table manners
12. Excessive use of make-up.
13. Lazy.
14. No sense of humor.
15. Born again Christians.
16. No brains.
17. Criminal record.
18. Thinks acting like a 'wigger' cool.
19. Cheating.
20. High maintenance.

A log time these might be pretty good traits. Maybe in the unknown future, might still be OK.

Watch the head-numbing Jerry Springer show, and you will see.

I suspect the word may mean "white trash" or something close to that.

The Greeks in the time of Odysseus had the wine-dark sea.
We have the head-numbing Jerry Springer show.

Look it up on urban dictionary.com

Basically, a suburban privledged brat who thinks he's cool because he listens to eminem and wears his pants low.

All can be encompassed in that.

While the list above is quite good and accurate, this is saying it best.

While it may not be nice, over size 8 or under 5ft 6 don't work for me. And those stupid tattoos... You arent artistic not unique because you have one...

Glad I'm married.

High Maintenance
Liberal
Crazy
Materialistic
Unable to hold intelligent conversation
Rude
Manipulative
Not attractive
Selfish
Not self-sufficient
Tattoos
Smoking/drugs
Laziness

I like wholesome down to earth women with rational minds....and I'm still looking

So am I!

Back in the "Dating Daze" I met many nice girls who were always amazed that I had no tats and no piercings.

My lovely Wife would never have even considered me with them.

The only deal breakers for me are:

-Overwhelming selfish. Every attractive woman under 30 is in the driver's seat when it comes to dating, so they're all selfish and high maintenance to some degree. But some of them are selfish to an extreme.

-Overweight and refuses to do something about it. I take care of myself and expect the same from the one I date

You guys who are anti-tattoo, you will need to date only women 35 and up. There has been a big tattooing trend in the fashion industry for the last 10 years. Many, many women in their 20s and early 30s have them now. And they are not your stereotypical overweight biker chick or drugged out prostitute girl. They are your regular, college-educated, professional girl-next-door type. Tattoos are no longer seen as the outlaw thing

I still find it low class. Right or wrong, like it or not, that's my view.

For someone else, fine. For my S.O., its just a turnoff, plain and simple.

And I could care less what the fashion industry says is good or acceptable.
