I have yet to try them on mine; too afraid.I had a Subaru Legacy -the paddle shifters were the only redeeming quality the car had.

the non-premium executive sedan is dead and has been dying for a long time. entry level midsize sedans are the almost same size and can be optioned out.
people want to step up to a better nameplate than what those vehicles had to offer, that’s just a fact. the lexus ES still moves 45k units a year for the small amount of people who can’t sacrifice size for prestige.
azera dead
avalon dead
maxima dead
taurus dead
lacrosse dead
300 dead
Easily stolen HID headlamps, and what others had said.
Don't be afraid-life is too short!I have yet to try them on mine; too afraid.
They still do but it's also gonna be dead in a year as well. A shame larger sedans are going extinct. Well at least high value ones affordable to the middle class. The near 100k large sedans will always exist. They don’t make those anymore either.
True to an extent from my perspective... a family member had a Smart4Two several yrs ago and it had paddle shifters... what the hell is the point when you barely have 4 hamsters pushing the thing?!? Also, I imagine paddles would be useful in straight line accelerating, but I prefer lots of curves and that might interfere with steering often.Because a vehicle with paddle shifters and manual shift mode can be fun. Especially for people who don't read they (CVTs) are all evil on a certain auto forum.

And all they had to do was offer a 6 speed "base" model.they killed the maxima when the pos cvt was introduced....
Opinions certainly vary, lmao...they killed the maxima when the pos cvt was introduced....
This actually surprised me with the mention for tall people. My coworker has a 2014 Maxima and that thing is TINY and super cramped inside. My 2015 Sonata was cavernous. I didn’t mention anything, but when he got in my car he said “wow, this thing is huge inside!”. My knees are almost in the dash in the Maxima, and I’m 6’2”. He’s probably 5’11”I loved my 2013 SV. Excellent power, comfort for tall people, good economy if you respected throttle. Nobody buys sedans, no surprise it's done.
Were you in the passenger seat or driver's seat? I'm 6'3" and have plenty of room, but passenger side without the vertical adjustment is a little tight. This actually surprised me with the mention for tall people. that is sooo true! They still make it? All the Nissan sedans look alike these days.
all the love children produced after the Renault-Nissan marriage were abominations! It blows my mind that a Japanese car company thought they had anything to learn from a FRENCH automaker!they killed the maxima when the pos cvt was introduced....
