2011 Nissan Cube with a manual?

My 2009 xB is going on the market after Christmas, so that means I’ll have room for another project if I so desire. In keeping with my recently discovered love for toaster-shaped cars there’s a 2011 Nissan Cube listed on FB that might be fun. It has a 1.8L engine and a six speed manual. I know this generation of Nissans have a terrible reputation because of the CVT but having a manual makes this moot. What’s the scoop on this engine and transmission combo?

I'd think it would be decent. Don't see many of them on the road anymore, probably due to the CVT.

These cars are similar to the Scion XB which is one of my favs - love the usable space and the roomy driver's seat. I drove one with a stick it was pretty fun! I bet the manual Cube would be too.

I was just looking at a manual cube. Shockingly cheap vehicles. Great deal if you dont mind the look. According to my research the CVT was almost all of the complaints. With a manual the problems will be minor/cheap to fix.
