Looks pretty good! Short time versus mileage.

The date code of F07D02E2 is July 02, 2012:

F = Fayettevile, North Carolina Plant
07 = Month (July)
D = Year (2012)
02 = Day of Month
E = Line Number
1 = Shift

I use the same part# for my Altima as well. Either the Classic or PureONE. They just don't look as sturdy as they once did though, this example isn't a disaster either! Held up well but, with wavy pleats.

For a more thorough examination the media should be cut off and stretched out and held up to a light. Might be some surprises there. Looks like it's been under some stress.

Another Purolator with no tear? But its old stock yada, yada, yada...Hey, it is a little wavy but no big deal! Good looking filter, thanks for the cut and post.

I stopped using that filter years ago when I found out is was rated at 40 microns.

It is not a disaster - at least it did not self bypass - but it looks pretty shagged for 6700 miles...IMO

Poor looking filter IMO. Strange this same filter model and manufacturing plant, used for similar miles in 06 Civic can look so different. My past filters though were 2010 or earlier date codes, and used over a longer periods (short trips) had relatively straight pleats.
