I have a 2021 jeep gladiator with the updated 3.6 PUG pentastar. Looking to run 0w20 until the warranty is out (10k more miles). Whats the current best 0w20’s? Preferably on the shelf. I was considering Amsoil but at $15 a quart it is pricey and not sure it’s THAT much better.

In no particular order.

M1 ESP 0W-20
Castrol Edge EP 0W-20
Valvoline Restore and Protect 0W-20
M1 Truck & SUV 0W-20

My favorite M1 ESP 0W-30, which is in my Wrangler 3.6 under warranty.
Thought about it but don’t want to risk an issue. I’m assuming/hoping for camshaft issues BEFORE warranty is up lol

You've been here 10 years, and still believe there is a "best" oil? Hmmmmmm ....

Here's a peek into reality. There are many good oils. There are some even better oils. And there's a small smattering of great oils. But none of them are "best".

That's because "best" is only applicable to a specific circumstantial application unique to your application. And you'd only be able to define "best" after massive investments of time and money, so whittle down to one "best" lubricant.

Suffice to say that any API licensed lube meeting/exceeding the OE spec(s) is good enough for the 3.6L engine. It's not particularly sensitive to oil brands or grades as long as a reasonable selection is made.

There might not be a "best" but I'm surely allowed to pick my favorites.

I'd tend to put HPL's "overkill" blend at the top of the heap, but there's a many good oils that will all protect quite well.

Common off the shelf products:

PUP
Castrol Edge EP
Mobil 1 ESP

Also any HPL product will get the job done for what you're wanting if you're willing to spend Amsoil money.

How long do you plan to run the oil?

Amsoil does have the best 0W-20, but it is not on the shelf. The $15.00 thing tells me you are looking at the Signature Series, what are your OCI's ? Amsoil does have some other 0W-20 oil's.

PC price is under $12(11.80 and case price even lower)

Most likely 5-7500. Will depend on time of year and driving habits

I've run Pennzoil Platinum HM and currently running Valvoline EP HM in my PUP JL, it likes both. Always 0W20 and I wheel it pretty hard, at almost 109k miles.
