I don't use Crowdstrike, whatever that is, and I avoid Microsoft software updates until they have been around a few weeks.
Friday night releases are always a bad idea.
So I have not seen anything regarding what actually caused this. Anyone have a link? I presume the code was tested - so what happened?
Probably won't and probably shouldn't until they fix the mess 1st. A massive pay cut or no bonus for many other as well, but wishful thinking. We saw how executives at GM and Wallstreet were punished after being bailed out by the tax payer. Having Crowd Strike on your resume will suck though.Did some high level heads roll for this? They certainly should.
Is mediation step #1, "Find a new cybersecurity services company?"Crowdstrike issued a root cause analysis of their mess today.
