Counterfeit Motorcraft FL-910S

Might this just be a china market filter and not counterfeit?
Although ali express is the wild West of shopping.
I do not thinks so. They are cryptic in their listings and usually edit out actual brand names but you know what they are pushing.

Got thinking, if you still have the counterfeit for kicks and giggles, a burn test on the adbv would be interesting to see if it is really silicone as the orange would indicate.

And, good to know about your experience with Amazon following the sold and shipped by practice.

They went out with the trash pickup this morning.

I do not think the ADBV was silicone. Was stiff and slow to snap back to form when folded over. Had fine chalk like film on it that wiped off but that may have been the mold release agent.

OK. Going out their way to fake a silicone adbv using orange color, that would be low even for counterfeit, imo.

Was not exactly the most scientific method, so do not hold me to it. If it was silicone, it was pretty crappy example.

Why is the Motorcraft FL-820 still so cheap at Walmart? Some super sale blow-out perhaps.

The label peeling off is a dead giveaway, among other things. Though I'm less familiar with what an OEM Ford Motorcraft box would look like. This is why I have no problem using Amazon for OEM stuff. Great deals if you know how to spot a counterfeit.

Is it actually shipped and sold by Walmart? Walmart online is now like Amazon in that there are a lot of third-party sellers.
It shows it to be in the local store near me. See on the ad where it says "Pickup today".

The filter on the right (the good one so to speak) shows black glue on the base plate. The last couple of oil changes (I do them myself) I found clue pieces in my oil change pan when I drained out the oil. Because of that I am no longer using the MC FL 910S which I used for many years in Ford engines. Also, I always bought them from WM.

I have stopped using the FL-910S also because of torn media on my last oil change on the Bronco Sport I have.
