Corolla oil question

Hello Gentlemen and Ladies here. In my 98' Corolla, I am using 5w30 pyb. If I wanted to, could I use 0w30 for winter months? I dont plan on driving it much unless my civic blows up or something catastrophic happens. Thank you in advance for any advice and info. adam v

Why not use it year-round.....for better cold start-ups....and a little better mileage.

0W30 is available only in Synthetic and only Mobil 1 at most stores, it costs about $27 5-qt jug at WM. You could extend OCI to 10-12k miles with M1 0W30 if your driving is not severe.

GC is another option, but will probably kill MPG in his Corolla.
