2023 toyota Cross oil/filter

With the owner's maintenance habits known to be lacking, did you check to see if the maintenance reminder warning could be reduced to 5,000 miles instead of the default setting from the Toyota factory (7,500 mi?)?

If my UX is any indication, it can't. I could change the MM mileage setting on my 2014 CT, but not on the 2025. I'm assuming Toyota and Lexus use the same interface.

I have no great oil buying advice for you, but I would like to hear your opinion/review of your 2023 Corolla Cross if you are up to it.
Keep reading the Hybrid is the one to buy for bit more power/acceleration and the better fuel economy.
Then there are those saying the 169 HP gas version ''too slow''....or the rear seat not roomy enough.
I've never owned the Corolla Cross but have kept my eyes on the development of it from the beginning and would like to maybe buy one one day. Then I think maybe the bigger (older )2020 Rav4 would be even better.
Then I remember I have no money to buy a new set of tires and I go back to my reality...lol.

Hello,
I will be taking over maintenance on a 2023 Toyota Cross L W/43K, Not hybrid.
My daughters friends free oil changes ran out and she's way over due from my understanding.
From what I have researched it may call for 0w 16 oil not a fan of that weight.
Thinking 0w20 Pennzoil ultra platinum or Mobil 1 extended performance and a toyota or Bosch filter.
I do 5-7k changes but feel it won't happen with her and a 20k oil will give a cushion for time if it goes 7-10k. I don't believe in 10k changes but she will drive till her car says oil change due.
Dont even want to think about the CVT transmission yet.
By the way this car is used in central Florida, never gets cold but does get hot
What oil do you cross owners run ?
Running 5w30 in the Toyota CHR. Changed fluid three times already in cvt. Find a brand you like as its all cheaper than oem fluid, quite a bit more robust and will outperform the OE. Used Amsoil once, and Redline twice. Would also recommend the High Performance Lubricants CVT fluid.
