On my dad's 12 Camry LE that comes with 205-65-16's. The only tire they have in that size is their winter tire. However, if I go to a 215-65-16 many options come up esp the CS4. I could also go to a 205-60-16 but think the slightly wider option would be a better choice. I would probably order these from DTD and have them installed somewhere maybe even the Toyota dealer. Hopefully, that won't be an issue. Thoughts, comments, other, etc...???

Does it have to be Cooper? There are much better tires out there from first tier manufacturers that most likely cost the same or less.
What about a 215/60R16? That way when you go wider you are not also going taller.
Also, why are you so stuck on Cooper? I'm pretty sure there are a lot of other quality options out there.

I was really surprised with all of the praise for the Cooper CS4. I've put a good amount of miles on them - they are really poor tires.
Same for fiat, only 2 tires that fit in stock size, some cooper and pirelli 195/45/16. I will go with 215/45/16 or even 215/50/16 when it's time to change, much more choices and better tires.
If you aren't dead set on the CS4's you can get Hankook Optimo H727's in the OE 205/65/16 size and they are an EXCELLENT tire. They have a $50 rebate deal going on right now. DTD has them for just $97 a tire and they are showing a whole bunch of rebates for them ( 3 in total )

That's an excellent price on the Hankook's. Not to mention keeping the normal size in tact. Just had the CS4's on the previous generation Camry and my dad liked them a lot. I'm currently running some Hankook Ventus V2's on the Matrix and after 10k miles I'm very pleased with them.
I have 205/65R16 on my car and this is an oddball tire size to begin with which is unfortunate so choices are limited. When I got tires at a tire chain they had General Altimax RT in this size and I have no complaints. They really excel in there wet performance.
Yes, there are lots of tire choices in this size, 205-65-16. My '04 Altima came standard with this size(2002-04), where the(2005-06) Altima came with 215-60-16 and have stayed with it to 2012(IDK about the 2013).

If an optional size tire won't fit in the wheel well or would rub against the strut or inside the well, DTD wouldn't list it. I am using a Plus Size(225-55-17).
Keep in mind that the 225-60-16 are a good replacement size as the two tire are almost identical in over diameter and should fit nicely in the wheel well of a '12 Camry. And, you can get the CS4's in this size.

^^^Some good points above. And iirc 225/60-16 is the size I used to replace my 03 Altima 205/65-16 oe size. If one uses one of the many online tire size speed calculators, 225/60-16 has a very close to oe size speedometer reading. I suggest anyone considering alternative size use one, 1010 tire site even warns to make sure no more than 3% difference from oe. 205/65-16 does have limited offerings compared to others.
For sure DTD has some great multiple promos going to lower the cost, looks like some have up to 3 rebates.
Hope taking them to the dealer for install doesn't negate all your DTD savings. I mention that because that was my first thought when you said you might let them do the install. Just something to consider, I'd check price before agreeing to let them do it.

After the winter in Clevand they held air very well.

Just get 215/60r16 , you will induce a -1.26% error, which means you will be going slightly slower than what the speedometer shows. Lot more options in that size. The thinner 205 rated tire lowers the rolling resistance, helps them achieve their mpg target numbers. Those same cars were available a few years ago with recommended tire size as 215/60R16.
