I really liked the Pirelli P4 when I had’em on my ‘04 Altima, size 205-60-16 also.
I want to know if anyone has any experiences with continental pro contact tx tires, they seem to give most of what I'm looking for and seem like they could be a very comfortable tire. If not does anyone have any recommendations for low treadwear tires that are h rated and how much of a difference does higher speed rating tires feel in terms of stifness. I'm trying to match as close as possible to the Aspen gt-as tires to hopefully get the same feel I had where they were extremely plush and comfortable tires, felt almost nothing over any bumps small or large, but still had great handling and felt very stable through corners and on the highway cruising. I also wanted to know if anyone could let me know if I was to go up in size to 215/60R16s how that would feel on a car like mine as it opens up a lot more options for tires.
I'm not too concerned about treadwear life as I'd rather replace a tire more often if it's going to be more comfortable, I wouldn't even mind if I had to replace tires every 30k miles. My focus is more the bump absorption being plush, not having to feel road imperfections through the steering wheel to where it's almost vibrating, a highway ride where it doesn't feel like the tires are wandering like the continental true contacts did. I did consider the general altimax rt45s since I can use continental's 60 day satisfaction trial to exchange them since they make general tires also. I have no idea what Aspen gt-as tires had in their construction that gave them the most comfortable ride, but I'm trying to identically match or come as close as possible to that.Had the TX ( H-rated ) as 15" O.E.M. on the HYUNDAI Accent . I'd pass on them . Start at 9/32s' and wore quickly . Replaced with GENERAL Altimax RT43 ( H ) with better performance and wear .
They're discontinued and the latest manufacturer date of the tires from what I found is 2019 which is a pretty old tire. I also can't really find a full set of them I can only find 1 maybe at most two of them and I don't know their condition. That's why I've been trying to find a modern solution, I'm also trying to see if something was possibly hidden by worn tires and a poor alignment that I couldn't feel before.Since you are obviously fixated on the cheap Aspen GT tires, why don't you just buy them online?
ASPEN GT 205/60-16
Give Simple Tire a call to see what the dates are on their stock of Aspen GT's. The website I linked above shows at least four 205/60-16 size tires in stock. They're discontinued and the latest manufacturer date of the tires from what I found is 2019 which is a pretty old tire. They only discontinued the tire in my exact size. They don't have any options for a 16" wheel besides the 215/65r16 96h.Give Simple Tire a call to see what the dates are on their stock of Aspen GT's. The website I linked above shows at least 4 tires in stock.

That photo says a 15" wheel I have a 16" wheel. I have no reason to troll I'm genuinely trying to find a tire I would have never made the forum post if they were still made today. I would need 205/60r16 91h not 205/60r15 91h.You are obviously trolling us here since I posted photo evidence that Simple Tire currently has at least four Aspen GT tires in size 205/60-15 (91H) available today.
I'm out of this thread.
My apologies...I deleted the content of my previous post. Hope you can find a suitable tire. As stated earlier, you might like the Pirelli P4 A/S Persist Plus. That photo says a 15" wheel I have a 16" wheel. Yeah I'm more so leaning toward the exchange I'm just trying to go with a set I hopefully won't be disappointed in. I don't need in tires what a lot of people care about for tires I'd rather replace tires more often if they're more comfortable, but I don't like how the hankooks are bouncy and stiff at the same time if that makes sense. It leads to these really unpleasant drops into bigger bumps where the whole front end dives into it almost. The general rt45s are still a higher treadwear tire which makes me nervous to go with them for a comfort standpoint after I was told that one of the main reasons the true contact tour 54s were too stiff was because the treadwear is really high so the rubber is harder to make them last longer. The only other option I really have is the Continental pro contact tx tires. Every other tire doesn't come in 205/60r16 and if it does the load index is higher and the speed rating is V which leads me to believe it's going to be a stiff tire. The exchange seems the more economical thing to try.
Give that offer to Discount Tire and they will beat it ---For your 2007 Accord, I recommend the Pirelli P4 A/S Plus Persist tires for good handling, great all-season traction and a smooth quiet ride. Good deals can be had on the Pirelli P4 if you belong to a Sam's Club warehouse.

We have a 2007 Accord with the same tire size. No issues with the PureContact LS. Make sure the suspension parts, especially the two bushings on the lower control arms, are in good condition.
