Anyone drive on these? Looking for advice to prevent buyer's remorse. I ordered a set of CS3's in the last hours of the DTD Memorial Day sale, as the price was unreal. After rebates it will be $125 shipped to door, for 185/65R14. (The H727 was even cheaper with the Hankook rebate added, but I am determined to buy made-in-USA tires.)

Now as I wait for UPS to deliver them I wonder if I blundered. Can't find many reviews. Heck, I could leave them bundled and unopened and sell them on CL and at least break even.

So, does anyone know much about these tires? Thanks.

Yep. Can't beat the DTD sales. As noted, the Hankook H727 would have been less: $107 (!) with the Hankook rebate. Plus installation, of course, but still an unreal deal.

H or T rated?

T rated are 540 A B,

H are 440 A A

Either way, for a 14 year old car, I think you got a bargain...

I have these on my DD but bigger tire, 17 rim. Good traction, seem like will probaby last me 65-75k and I'm not good about rotating. They were on car when bought it n still on there.

These are decent tires. The CS5 are the newer ones, and better, but the CS3's are not bad.

Can't get CS5 in 14" sizes, as far as I can see. Like a lot of the newest models.

I got the CS3 because of the crazy deal, plus they are made in the USA. Also, my winter tires---way overdue to come off---are Cooper Weathermasters. Same company, same plant. (Tupelo, Miss.) I am not worried about winter traction with the CS3s since I plan to put the winter tires back on in December.

The other option I briefly considered was the H727, mainly to laugh at the almost-comical great deal. ($107 for a set, after rebates) I had a set of H727s for two years and liked them, but the made-in-USA factor won out. I've posted here that if I buy foreign-made tires again it will be Nokian, and I plan to stick to that.

Will let y'all know how it goes.
