Colorado Springs Trip

Due to Covid and my wife's serious health issues, we weren't able to visit our daughter and grandson in Colorado for 3 years. They got a different house we hadn't seen yet. She said their yard was the worst on the block so I wanted to do some work on it. Didn't do everything I wanted but got some flowers and plantings done. They have been getting a lot of rain which is odd for them so things were nice and green. Even rode some rides with my grandson at the North Pole. Man it has been a while.
Of course the mountains are always amazing.

Nice. Springs is growing alot. It used to feel very detached from the Denver metro area but Colorado springs has grown. Hopefully you'll be able to take in some of the sites while there. One of the best burger places I've ever had is there. The Skirted Heifer.

Tell them to treat their yard with Revive. It makes a big difference along with soil conditioning as the high clay content.

I've been threatening to astroturf my yard for years, a goodly number of people in the springs actually did...

No hail thankfully. One person in their cul da sac has turf....
