We got a thread for beans, how about one for machines? I have a lot of coffe related equipment. I'm going to drip mine out a bit slowly.

I'll start with a score I got locally. bnib Cafe brewer for $100. Will go nicely in the newly renovated guest house kitchen. Not sure why my drip machine needs wifi but I'll check it out.

Eventually I am going to do a shootout of my drip machines. Like I said I have a bunch 😀.

Grinders as well 🤪👍

I use a Mr Coffee espresso machine to make coffee. It's a simple $40 machine. I use a combination of regular coffee and espresso to make a very strong brew, then I mix it with a few ounces of hot water with melted butter frothed into it. Similar to the Bulletproof Coffee made popular by Dave Asprey.

Love strong coffee. As much coffee as I drink I have yet to try it with butter. So many people swear by it, so I have to give it a go soon. 👍

Very nice BeerCan. Thank You for sharing. 😍😍
Thanks. Love my coffe but close second is my fondness of the various ways to prepare it. There is no wrong way to drink coffee imo 😀

Try some of this. Especially good in the AM after long cold night camping out.

Been there, thankfully I have options now 😁
I just brew coffee the regular way. I don’t grind my own beans.
That works. Machine? I'm going to guess Cuisinart, just because I like guessing.

My trusty Breville with built-in grinder...

Is the grinder flat or conical? Will it grind for filter coffee as well? I've never looked at the AIO machines.

Breville makes nice stuff, I think. I had the precision brewer and liked it for the most part. Felt coffe was slightly under extracted in it, but it was well built. I think it has to be the only drip machine that uses a diaphragm pump.

I used a the least expensive Mr Coffee maker for years until it shot craps. Then I received a Kuerig single cup maker and used that until it died.

Now I have one of these. https://hamiltonbeach.com/the-scoop-single-serve-coffee-maker-47550

It makes a perfect cup of coffee in both flavor and brew time at just the right temperature. I use most of all Aldi's coffees..... https://www.aldi.us/en/products/bev...imo-french-roast-or-house-blend-ground-coffe/

Lastly, I store them in this, which keeps the grounds fresh all the way to the end. https://www.amazon.com/Coffee-Gator...t=&hvlocphy=9051761&hvtargid=pla-823571312612

I have a 10+ year old technivorm Moccamaster
Backup coffee pot is a Bonavita 1900ts that I got for 33$ at sams club.. open box.
Had a new in box BRAUN Brewsense KF6050WH that I gifted for Christmas. My uncle had a really old cheap 20$ coffeepot. The upgrade was good.

That Hamilton Beach brewer looks pretty cool. I like that it has reusable filter unlike k cup.

Funny, I have that exact coffee gator. I still use it but I mostly use my airscape stuff now, even though the coffee gator is easier to use.

I have a Moccamaster as well, except mine has a thermal carafe. I plan on having it in my coffee drip shootout. Smart money is on the MM :)

Its not perfect the showerhead could use a little more designing but it does work quite well.. for my normal 20oz of coffee in the morning.
The bonavita showerhead is more even but its basket vs cone for the MM

Also brew 3 gal of tea a week from the MM.
use these gallon size tea bags.. then dump over some ice and top off with RO water.

Each teabag has 1oz!!! of tea in it.. normal teabags 100 =8oz
they are currently on sale 48pk for 5.48 normally around $11

I agree about the shower head on the MM. I find myself turning the filter basket or stiring the grinds when I use it. Still for whatever reason it has some magic. The MM always seems to give a full body cup.

I did a comparison a year or so ago between the MM and the breville precision brew. Same grinds etc etc and the breville just seemed thin vs the MM. Could be confirmation bias or something else but everyone in the family agreed.
