Emmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Good.

I'm with you. I like to get fancy beans from time to time, but DDOB is a great standard, daily drink brew.

Careful shopping will get you this model, after discounts & coupons, for about 80 bucks:

Same here, I LOVE my Keurig. I have the new Platinum quiet verson. Fresh cup every cup and GREAT coffee selections. I to will never be going back to drip brewers again

I love the caribou coffees, Green mountain Nantucket ( drinking Now ), Green Mountain breakfast blend, and the cinnomon Roll from Doughnut house is really good. Holiday mint mocha was to die for but could only be purchased on QVC.

Keurig here too.
Green Mountain breakfast blend is my favorite.Kona blends are good too. Will try the Nantucket.I believe Costco has the Nantucket pretty cheap.

Whole bean Sumantra coffee from Camano Island Coffee Roasters. Somewhere around $35 for 5 pounds on Amazon when set up with subcribe and save. No shipping, no taxes and no trip to the grocery store.

A full, rich dark roast fair trade coffee that's certified organic and freshly ground every morning.

Try the Colombian Caribou....It's my new fave

Like most Canadians I drink a lot of Tim Hortons coffee. Either from drive-through, or made at home in the coffee maker.

As back-up, we have a plastic tub of Folgers that WM puts on sale all the time.....

Colombian Caribou is very good
8 oclock colombian is pretty good
lately i have been buying the don pablos from costco as it is only 10 dollars for a two pound bag of beans.
Also costcos house blend is pretty good if you like a darker roast. It is basically starbucks coffee.

Usually Folgers or anything French roast. If its unknown Arabica beans taste better. Though Robusto beans have more caffeine .

I have a Bunn which is plumbed into the water supply. Usually I make 10 cups, drink one or two hot then refrigerate the rest and drink it cold at my own leisure. My wife is in to the foo foo creamers and flavors. I don't care a whole bunch for that though a good hazelnut, almond or vanilla extract hits the spot once in a blue moon. For a treat, nothing beats Turkish coffee. I can go two weeks without coffee or have 10 cups in one day.

The Bunn A10 Auto is the best brewer money can buy......Nice brewer and last forever. Thats what I replaced with my Keurig. I still have it though just incase

right now I am using a mix not sure of the brand but it is the expensive grind your own kind you see in the coffee aisle. I am using two of the STRONGEST that they have!!!

I learned to drink coffee at age 6 from my dad back in the days of the old percolators when they would leave grounds in the bottom of your cup, my dad taught me to chew up those grounds as it was a part of the coffee!!!

to me it has to be REAL STRONG!!! otherwise it is just warm brown water!!! If you can't stand a spoon up in the cup it is a waste of my time!! LOL

also it HAS TO BE BLACK!!!!! NOTHING ELSE BUT THE COFFEE!!!!

Have had good luck with Costco's whole bean. Usually just buy their house brand, but got some Rawandan(sp)whole bean the other day, but haven't tried it yet.

Freshly roasted Costco coffee, usually Sumatran. Nothing beats up picking up a still-warm bag and sticking straight into the freezer. Keeps oils in the beans. Use a Cuisineart burr grinder. Never a straight-blade mill--it heats up the beans and destroys the flavor.

Cannot stand Folger's and Maxwell, what a rip-off. I'd rather drink instant, than touch that nastiness. Dry straw tastes better than Maxwell.

Storing coffee in the freezer is the worst thing you can do. The freezer is the biggest misconseption of storing coffee.

Folgers has way too much Chica in it for me. It taste like wood IMO. The light color roast that looks like coffee is chica, it basically a filler.

Yuban by far has the best colombian that is store bought, especially for commercial type brewers. The smaller grind also yields more for less. 1.5 oz drop for 10 cups, 1.75 for 12 cup

Is there really a difference in coffee grinders?? I use a cheapo black and decker grinder. I guess its the blade type as a blade type impliment spins around and chops them up. How hot can the beans get from a 5 second grinding??

Chopping is not grinding. One big problem is inconsistancy. it really doesn't overheat the beans. Good grinders are fairly expensive but IMO are worth it if you plan to grind your own beans. Most stores and I believe costco has a grinder you can use when purchasing beans from them. Most coffee shop will grind and rebag and beans you purchase from them.

A grinder will help with the better brewers that have faster brew times such as the bunn. A finer grind will extract better with a faster brew. This is why an OTC coffee like Yuban (Finer grind) works so well in those brewers.

I have had the same coffee ground in a burr grinder and a blade grinder. I can tell zero difference.
