Either that’s good enough for the average buyer or they don’t know. They’re selling though.Just as long as it says "Buick" on the hood it's OK to buy vehicles from China.......

I wonder how many people care that their IPhone was made in China.Either that’s good enough for the average buyer or they don’t know. They’re selling though.
Or nearly any other phone? Probably no one. Would I prefer my iPhone to be made in the US? Of course, but I’m used to not being the majority in about every opinion I have.I wonder how many people care that their IPhone was made in China.
That doesn’t seem much but I can’t go anywhere without seeing them. I wonder if they’re selling better in the Midwest than anywhere else. The Sunfire market so to speak.
Lack of sales probably has little to do with country of origin.
Am I missing something? I thought this was an ICE only vehicle?
Cool, I figured I was missing something there... and on top of that I miss-read CKNs reply too... so much for posting while still waking up. I still dont get the 3 cylinder engine, its a turn off but ... I guess EPA related. Gee.. nothing new there ... but no politics. The Envista was brought up because it shows Chinese made cars are already imported to the USA.
They dont ... and ... Apple has been slowly off shoring production of products from China. iPads, MacBooks, AirPods to Vietnam which is where my Apple Watch 9 is also produced.I wonder how many people care that their IPhone was made in China.
I think everyone would have said we’d never get a Chinese built Buick here either. It's pretty much impossible to not buy Chinese products these days . A Chinese EV ? Yeah , that's never going to happen .
Cool! Thank god EV prices will stay high.
It just proves it’s not about the environment.
Not that any of this will matter because the Chinese don’t send cars here anyway and this will ensure Americans continue to pay high prices.
Not sure if this will affect Volvo… Volvo is working on it.
Yes, the enthusiasts have got their cars here in the USA. I cant speak for overseas which is a different playing field for postage size countries and city dwellers. Sales have dropped off faster than I imagined even though it really didnt get ever off the ground here in the USA. IT never will as long as they cost 50k to the average income family.https://asia.nikkei.com/Business/Au...9Xy5FPzgX5NwqcRbqHD0AXD9vkBmDWD8BtK3eE7IKCEx7
Chinese makers of EV batteries are curtailing their production plans in Germany as falling EV purchases in Europe's largest auto market hamper their sales.
I agree, and even if the price comes in, the range and the time it takes to charge them will still be an issue to many.Yes, the enthusiasts have got their cars here in the USA. Absolutely, it will still always be a second car in a family for the majority of the owners.I agree, and even if the price comes in, the range and the time it takes to charge them will still be an issue to many.
The three cylinder engine is going to become common. GM is running them on the Trax and the Envision. Not sure what’s up with that exhaust configuration.
