Letting in cheap Chinese junk is not capitalism. If you want capitalism, then start with companies that aren’t owned by the CCP. I’ll wait for a list of those.

I don't you've quite got a handle on the size of what's going on. This is just one Chinese EV company, they have 3 of these ships. We have BYD here in NZ.
I remember when Hyundia showed up with their pos Pony- now you guys LOVE Hyundia. 2 things are going to happen with more competition- the vehicle will tank or it will be a good value for some people and sell. I would say the domestics need some competition.

Almost 300,000 Teslas were sold in Australia last year. Almost all were manufactured in China. Australia is way ahead in this game. Permits for imports into Canada are expected in September.
