I do agree with that article, but there is a problem with dealing with an autocratic dictator that has killed or imprisoned any possible competition or anyone with a dissenting viewpoint. You know he is surrounded by only yes men and you can't be sure what he will do.
This will only come surprise to a Westerner that only sees communist in the party name.

The history of Vietnamese immigration into the US is a story all by itself. Escaping communism at any cost. Hundreds of thousands died trying. Many more made it here and they quickly grasped the American Dream. They are hard working and freedom loving.
I am sure the US has several attack subs not far away taking everything in.

Ave you found a single case of any nation addressing allegations of aggressiveness of China in this century?
One usually does not get aggressive with their banker.
Yep and now Cuba is going to receive billions for allowing China to build a listening post on their soil. Perhaps they'll use the Soviet site which closed in 2001. Of course feigned outrage will be served up by all the typical pundits.
