Can someone perhaps direct me to where those two topics are- or were being discussed?

i) I was wondering if the Chevy-Shake phenomenon has ever been solved, and whether buying a 'Burb beyond a certain model year would be before- or beyond the prb years... and

ii) also whether Active Fuel Mgt ever ceased to be a mtce or longevity thorn in the prospective owner's behind.

Thx!

There are several truck sites where you would get reliable answers. Google is your friend. Most who answer on here won't have ever owned a vehicle with AFM/DFM. That's the way it works. I however-have owned three trucks with AFM without issue. My experience would only relate to about 60,000.00 miles-because that is where I traded up.

There’s 4 or 5 posts on SilveradoSierras new posts list regarding AFM/lifter issues alone right now. It’s definitely still an issue

The shake (not to confused with Masta Shake from ATHF) was just in the news as part of a class action suit -- I think. GM lost, but I believe it was a state court.

I thought only Silverados were afflicted but I don't know.

Hopefully clinebarger can chime in about Displacement on De ....er, I mean AFM
