I'm interested in the Delo ESI line of gear oils for my lifted XJ. It seems to eat differential bearings and I'm going to try a different oil this time around. I've checked both Advances, Autozones, wally world, pep boys. The nearest listed distributor from the Chevron website is a 1 hour drive away.

Has anyone had luck getting this from a retail location in NC or the Southeast?

I have tried locating some in my area at various retailers as well including truck stops with no luck. Probably have to contact a distributor.

Just 1 hour?

Many fluids have limited availabilty. Use the yellow pages for distributors. Also, check with stores to see if they can order it.

Try contacting the local Chevron lubricant distributors and ask them who they supply that can sell you some gear oil at retail.

Also consider Schaeffer's #267 80w-90 gear oil with suspended moly. It is very heavy duty.

Also consider finding the misalignment or other mechanical reason those bearings fail continually.
