Agree! I really miss the 90s "Japanese exotics". The Japanese manufacturers were on top of their game.
Always liked these. Never was able to find one for myself... It was always either too rusty, or blown engine.
If i makes you feel better imagine as soon as you take it for a spin a bro-dozer kicks up a rock and chips your paint.
I always thought the Sentras of that era were attractive vehicles.
We had a 1992 regular Sentra and even it was a fun car to sling around on a backroad. Lots of suspension travel but had some sway bars to keep it from listing too much.
I bet that car is super fun to drive.

Hate to tell you but Betty White died a few months ago.
Son bought a well used early 90s Sentra that he beat like a rented mule, it lasted longer than I thought.
Good luck finding one like this with such low miles, in a state like Wisconsin no less. Maybe they never drove it because they realized that black is a horrible color to have in a state like Wisconsin?

I'm not sure I would use adjectives such as "quality" when talking about Honda's vehicles these days. As for Toyota, adjectives such as "outdated" and "lackluster" come to mind. They have become like GM in many ways... but from Japan.
Those were peppy and fun to drive but the brakes left a lot to be desired.

I had Datsuns in the 80's and 90's and they had that unique 3000 mile overall break in on the nose.
When it hit 3000 miles it was like magic. Everything softened up and it was ready to roll.
But seriously let's not dream. They had as many issues then as everything else did.
The paint was horrific and would fade and peel two years in. Yes, soft brakes and the same woes as today.
My 82 diesel PU had two glow plugs fail within the first year but lasted years after that.
One dealer outfitted them all with the Rusty Jones package inside and out.
Of course, I got paid on that deal because they paint didn't hold up no time...
Single wall beds and so on. Had a 93.5 hardbody with the factory big tires and V6 with a 5spd
Nice truck put pretty much the same issues

That's cool to see. We had a 1993 4dr XE "plus" model I think it was? The bride (then girlfriend) had bought it as an ex-rental in 1994-95. It was getting pretty rusty when we traded it for a new 2001 Sentra. It was a great little car though. We liked it more than the 2001.
What's the point unless you're buying it for a museum. The mileage is why the price is so high. If you plan on driving it, the value will drop exponentially with the mileage. Once you hit 4 figures it'll be worth maybe $15,000. Hit 5 figures, maybe $8,000. And if you DO drive it, it's going to leak oil, coolant, power steering fluid, transmission fluid, brake fluid, freon, etc. from every possible seal, gasket or hose so you will spend another $5k to rebuild everything.

I always wanted a Sentra SE-R. A coworker had a red one and it was so fun to drive. I later bought a 200SX SE-R which had the same engine. Really quick car for back then, but wasn’t quite as fun. I wish I had an extra $27,000 lying around, I’d buy it.
