A few years ago I saw a cool sign on the counter of a independent pizza shop here, and it said "pizza is like sex, even when it's bad it's still pretty darn good!"

I consider myself a cheap pizza man. I've had little caesar's $5 carryout pizza. when I used to live in an apt, the local pizza place had a special one topping large pizza for $4.97 carryout. my wife and I went to town on that. then a high school kid sold me a school thing for football for $20. I got buy one get one free pizza at papa john's for six months. I took them to town they couldn't wait for that card to expire on 7/31. past few weeks, I've been getting pizza hut 2 topping med pizza for $5.99 each. I also hit papa murphy pep pizza takeout special for $5.99 as well. I won't spend over twelve bucks for pizza, that's for well off folks.
there's pizza wars all the time. sign up on the pizza websites, pizza hut, papa john's, dominos, papa murphy's. they will send you specials every mon-weds.
P.S I'm thinkin of attacking dominos mon-weds special. 3 topping large pizza for $7.99. anyone tried it?
oh, I keep getting emails that pizza hut lunch buffet is $5 for a limited time with email coupon. some may want to check that out.

addyguy, you'll be disappointed to know that Pizza Pizza has raised the price on their walk in medium pizza, it's now $6.99. Although I'd still rather pay that then getting the cheaper and much less tasty Little Caesars!
Jeeze, my local Dominoes has 3 1 topping large pizzas for $7.99!

Did they recently change/cheapen their recipe? They used to be awesome! But the last few I`ve bought have been nasty! Crust had a different consistency,sauce tasted wierd,and there was no cheese whatsoever. Was really dry too :^(

That`s when Caesars rocked! When they called it "Pizza,Pizza" and you got two pizzas side by side wrapped in that paper package :^)

just got papa murphy's a few days ago. $8 large delite pep pizza. but anyway, there was an insert that papa murphy's is celebrating their 30th annniversary this week and will be having customer appreciation from 9/15-9/18. You can get a large one topping pizza for $5! It's unclear if there is a limit, check with your local papa murphy's

L.C.'s mediums are $5.00 here, often on for $3.99 ..
