And if you go with Tig's oci using the autzone/advance sales you're at $16.50 per 5K. I'm doing one more 7500 oci on my wife's camry to get it to 80k on the odometer and then I'm going with the 10K oci on that car.
Cheaper Synthetic - Any Ideas?

Take a look at Peak synthetic.
The 0W-20 I picked up on sale at Pepboys during their Black Friday sale was bottled in Mobil bottles.
The Walmart Super Tech in our area is coming in the same Mobil bottles.
No hint of Warren on the packaging.
Could it be Mobil Super 5000 and Super Synthetic???

A large "W" next to the letters "NE" that are slightly smaller appear at the bottom of the Peak synthetic bottle. I suspect that means Warren, which probably means that the Peak is very similar to Supertech. Supertech in this area is also made by Warren. I have seen some good used oil analysis using Supertech synthetic. I think Mobil provides Supertech in the southeast. BTW, SuperTech conventional is 2.89 a quart here at Walmart. Sheesh. Anyway, although the idea of using Mobil 1 Extended Performance for 10,000 is good, I am somewhat worried about extended oil changes with the extreme weather that we have in IL combined with the short trips that my vehicles often endure. This is probably irrational, but I think that I am going to stick with 5000 to 6000 mile OCIs. BTW, I read today that some commodities dealers anticipate $145.00 a barrel oil by this summer, so I am going to build my stash before we see $7.00 a quart for dino. Gas is going to be murder.
Quaker State UD is the bargain Syn Oil when you buy it by the jug at Walmart.
I am really surprised that people think the prices have really went up that bad. I can still get the really good syn oils I like at Walmart for under $ 28.00 a 5 Qt jug. (I usually spend about $ 24.00) Being I run between 7-10,000 miles between changes that is no big deal.
That is about a night out at the movies with popcorn and a drink.

I don't know much about PEAK synthetic so this time around I opted for Mobil.
Good thing NAPA is fairly close cuz who knows one day I may have to use it because Mobil "Super Synthetic will be too high in itself.

Might get flamed here, but my Wallywold sells SuperTec full synthetic for about $17 5qts. I've used in in an 02 Explorer for years now. GRANTED I change it every 4k miles but my engine is very clean and still gets the same 17.5 average MPG it always has, some 165k miles later.
All that said I wouldn't feel comfortable going much longer than 4k miles. Just saying what has worked for me.
