Cheaper carrier than Verizon?

I started out on USM w/Verizon network, but switched to ATT later, and it took just a few minutes. "Dark Star" = ATT. My cheap USM (unlocked) Pixel 9 phone is working well too. I paid for an annual plan, quite affordable, but I'll likely move to a cheaper plan next year because I never use all the data. Even with the high data plan, it's way cheaper than most other carriers.
Yes, this is why we did the "by the gig" plan. We are on our phones all the time. More than we should really. Anyway most in on WiFi as I posted but when we leave our home we are still on our phones all the time using data.

So paying $33 for two lines and shared 12 gigs of data, amazingly we only go over a very few times a year. Like, no more than 3 months in a year ever and at most an extra $12 for 6 more gigs of data and that much was only one time in two years (?) now. It turned out my wife was streaming music in lossless audio while on data.

iPhone offers an automatic setting for regular and high efficiency resolution. By the way, Bluetooth isnt even capable to stream music in high resolution. On WiFI the phone switches to high, it's all in the settings.
The process is seamless, as I have it on automatic, so the data is always there. So even then our actual payment was $45 for two lines. I have to stress we do NOT cut back on phone use because of using too much data. If anything I would just buy one more plan higher.

Here is an example. Over the holidays we visited my son two times, Thanksgiving and just 2 weeks ago to celebrate a late Christmas.
The drive is 4 hours each way/ Both trips on the return home my wife streamed a Netflix movie and tethered her phone to her iPad and we play the movie with the iPad on the center console. We still didnt go over on our data for the month.

Yeah, I know I am repeating, same with me, I started with Verizon and I didnt like it in our area. Then again I am partial to ATT and have had it on and off for the last 25 years. It just works. This is the first time in those years I tired Verizon. Though my wife is staying with it because she is good with it. We are in a fast growing area, actually one of the top 5 in the nation but the cell towers here still are too far and few. I have noticed all three companies push their 5g coverage and that is great if your near a tower but at times it still shows signal but it just does not work well. I set my phone to LTE so it does not even try 5g. LTE has better range and actually works more reliable than 5g. Then again, my wife is happy with her 5g. So its that close.

Another thing with US MOBILE is these low cost plans allow tethering. Not many other providers do, actually I don know of any. This is great for those rare long trips and watching videos on the iPad AND when staying in hotels using you laptop computer allow your to avoid connecting to the hotel wifi.

Ps, yeah, I am aware of the annual plan, If the day ever comes that I need more data without hesitation I would chose the annual.
Many, many years ago we used to use Red Pocket monthly, our at the time young daughter now an adult for some years, switched off of us when she was done with college and still uses Red Pocket on a annual plan.

Wife has been with Verizon's online only service Visable for quite a while now. I haven't heard any complaints and $25/month all in.
I have been on Visible for 3 yrs with no issues, 25.00 per month for me too. Looks like they are offering new customers 19.00 per mo for 26 mos

Mint, $15/mo unlimited, it’s on T-mobile network and video streaming resolution is limited, but I barely notice and use it multiple hours a day. Switched from Verizon and saving $80/mo.
