Changing Amsoil SSO to soon?

I did a oil change in my 2001 TL in October at 125k. Today the car has 132k. I did change out the oil filter at 130k, and added 1/3 quart of SSO. I know color is not a indication of when to change. But the oil is fairly dark.
Should I go to 135k? Oil filter I use is Pure One.

At least go 10k.

I'd go 10K if your car is out of warranty. But do at least one OCI to make sure everything is in check before continuing such long OCI's...

You changing when you did is probably equivalent to changing dino oil at 800-1000 miles. I agree 10k 6mths minimum.

Otherwise why even run it. Use Amsoil XL oil 6 mth 7500k.

Should be no problem. What kind of oil previously and what where the OCI's?

SSO can supposedly go 35k miles in non-severe conditions! I'd say leave it in for a while and don't lose any sleep over it.

7K on the oil now, 2K on a new filer with a small top off. I'd say you are good to go for the additional 3K to get to 135K on the vehicle. 10K on SSO should be a snap.

Sounds like a fair bit of engine cleaning going on. Change the SSO now making sure you use an Amsoil filter.
