Some of you may disagree, but my findings from my limited experience are that spark plugs are spark plugs. Platinum and iridium versions last at least twice as long as standard versions. Get the correct part number for your car and it really doesn't matter what brand you use.
Funny recollection here: I told the Honda parts counter guy some years ago that my 89 Accord came fro the factory with Champion plugs. It was a coupe and the coupes were built only in Ohio. The car also came with a Delco battery. He was insistent that the car HAD to have come with NGK plugs and that I was mistaken. I wasn't. I replaced the plugs the first time with the same model of Champion plug that came with the car.
