Please keep us updated on the substantial MPG increase you expect and actually get. If it isn’t at least 30-40mpg I will be deeply disappointedHeading out to the garage to install my intake vortex thingy!

My thinking exactly. It's a feeling of freedom never having to use that low HTHS 20 weight oil ever again in any vehicles I'll ever own.5w30 in all my vehicles year round.
As has been noted it’s not the observation that’s the problem.Joe Poster; "I observed...."

Summer blend fuel.
Because often people aren't very good observers or don't understand all the variables involved in said observations.Joe Poster; "I observed...."

Finished the O. Manual (yes, I'm one of those guys) and it actually gives wiggle room. Stating ....Very reasonable to consider it and yes, as much as everyone chirps that "they have to prove it was the cause" what a mess if you do...so much easier to remove that variable.
Not really, because most will drive with the sunroof open. This causes a massive disruption in airflow over the roof, negating any achievement from using "Summer Blend" fuels.Summer fuel, most will notice an uptick in fuel economy right now.
Kendall Nitro 60. It will seal the bullet better in the bore and increase velocity to exceed the hottest hand loads of even the 204 Ruger! After reading this I'm thinking, I should start using 0W-16 in my rifle barrels. More velocity perhaps?
More, yes? But only noticable in lab tests. After reading this I'm thinking, I should start using 0W-16 in my rifle barrels. More velocity perhaps?
The observation is valid...it's the part where he attributes it to the change in oil viscosity that is suspect. There are very likely other reasons that explain his observation other than the change in oil viscosity.Joe Poster; "I observed...."
