Bouth our Volvo D5 and Ford Ranger 2,4TDCI call for A5/B5 oil. The Volvo has 0w30 by manufacturer specs and the Ford 5w30.
The 5w30 is much easyer to find i A5/B5 and the price is much lower on it than the 0w30.
Thinking of going up to 5w30 in the Volvo so i just need to have one type of oil at home.
Ford has its Formula F 5w30 here in Europe to a really good price but has also looked at the Mobil Delvac City Logistics F 5w30 bouth of them is a A5/B5 oil.
I belive the 5w30 should work fine in the Volvo when our temperature at winter dont drop below -30C and newer exseeds 30C at summer.

I suppose if for some reason the temperatures would drop below -30C or you go more north, you would get a few days warning from the weather forecast and can get the oil changed to 0w30. If so you have 0 risk with running 5w30 a5/B5 oil
