I recently learned that Centric sells suspension parts. Most people know them for their brake parts.

I purchased these parts off CarID; they drop shipped directly from Centric HQ. Price was comparable to Moog R-Line. All of the parts were made in Taiwan.

I have only heard, not confirmed, that most products coming out of Taiwan are the better choice compared to parts coming from China. Centric is a good company and I've used their brake products but never their suspension parts.

Good luck,
CB

Interesting. I echo the sentiments of those above. Now a days it is very difficult to associate quality with brand names.

Equally interesting (and admirable) is that you have relaxed your very early standards of OEM parts only.

Thanks for sharing.

I share the same feelings with the above posters - Centric makes decent brake parts at a competitive price. I've installed several sets of their rotor/pad kits as well as a a few drum brake kits - all been ok. I would think their suspension parts would be decent as well - not sure how long they would last - but I would use them on a budget project for sure.

Made in Taiwan has been around much longer than made in China so I would assume with more experience comes better quality. I'd still be concerned with corrosion resistance on metal parts.

I recently learned that Centric sells suspension parts. Most people know them for their brake parts.

Centric was recently bought out by a multinational auto parts company link, probably why they are diversifying into other categories now, attempting to use the Centric name to sell more stuff.

Rest assured the parts are made in the same cheap overseas factories that R-line and many of the other aftermarket brands are. Brand name means very little anymore; that's true of most things, not just auto parts.
