I got my mevotech control arms in the mail and so far I am impressed. They are made out of solid cast/forged metal with a good possibly powder coat finish.
The ball joint itself is a grease type ball joint.
Previously I had Ford motorcraft grease free control arms and that derelin/nylon does not play with potholes and deforms which leads to loose ball joints.
I was also pretty happy with the fact that the TTX arms came with the one time use bolts to mount the control arms which is very nice, even ford doesnt sell them with their control arms.
This is the TTX line which is greenish/golden looking parts not their Chinese rubber dog poop or Chinese rubber dog poop + line. These arms are made in China still though.

I have TTX control arms on my 2004 F-150 and yes, they are beefy and seem well made. Time will tell. I also put the TTX sway bar end links onto my 2020 Toyota RAV4; they are way stiffer than the factory end links and really took the play out of my front end.

As for their mid level line, Supreme, they are pretty good as well. I put some Supreme sway bar end links and control arms on a Ford C-Max before selling it. They are still on the vehicle 100K later; they are getting greased every 3K.

TTX parts are the only front end components i will install when im doing freelance work. never had an issue with them and the prices are hard to beat. for my second job, everything is carquest premium due to lead time needs.
