Recently installed these, this is how it looks after 4 days of just sitting. I'm not seeing any rust.. which is unusual because the Toyota OEM's would rust after only a day, and their replacement before these (Centric Premium rotors) would also rust just the same.

These, however, have been pretty resistant to rusting. Does rust resistance matter when it comes to rotors? I don't know but it's a good sign (I think.) There might be something about their metallurgy formula that makes these resistant to rusting.

These are coated which is a plus because I hate having to clean them with brake cleaners before installation.

Thumbs up, so far.

These were made in Turkey, and shipped from their warehouse in NJ. They're slightly more expensive than say Raybestos coated rotors but seem to be worth it. I don't mind paying more for a better product, not one bit.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but, hasn't it been abnormally dry in your area lately?
Nobody manufactures stainless steel rotors that I am aware of, and unless they are manufactured from stainless steel, they will develop surface rust.

The OEM MOPAR rotors on my Patriot "seemed" to rust less than others. When I asked here about possible better metallurgy, people chimed in that there is not enough difference in the cast iron ingredients between rotor brands to make one more rust resistant than others.

Who knows?

So, the humidity yesterday was about 80% in NYC at 50 degrees, the 3 days before that, it was fairly dry at about 40% humidity. Also, there was some light rain yesterday. I distinctly remember that the rotors would show a lot of rust after only a day or two. These seem to fair better :)
