CAT 199-2239 5k Miles Mazda 6

This is the filter I replaced the Mazda filter with on my girlfriend's Mazda 6. CAT 199-2239. Less black crud in this one.

Wow. Construction looks really good, if this thing had a P-gasket and efficiency >98%@20u, it would probably be about the perfect near-universal Asian replacement. What was the cost on this?

Is the CAT filter the same length as the Mazda filter ? I put the longer Fram Ultra (Honda 7317) size on my daughter's 2018 Mazda 3.

It's slightly larger in every dimension...really not much though
