My dads cousin in France has a Citroën diesel and a Renault gasoline powered car. The Diesel has over 500K KM on it and the gasoline over 300K KM and have been very good to own.
I think it's only in N.A. that we have the problems we have because we "put up with it".
In Europe that same stunt would put the company out of business or start a revolt.
It's funny how the Fords, and Opels (GM) over their last for a long time but here they fall apart. (Or at least North American cars of the past anyways)
