Castrol Import Multi–Vehicle or MaxLife Dex/Merc

For a 95 Honda Accord.Both are speced for honda Z-1 app! The MaxLife says "suitable for Z-1" and the Castrol says "recomended for Z-1" I am about to finish my Auto-Rx cleaning of my transmission!What would you use? Does anyone have any experience w/ the Castrol in a Honda? The Castrol has a little thicker Vis of 8 @ 100*C where as the MaxLife is 7.25 @ 100*C. My car has 207000 miles on it, do you think the higher viscosity will help any?

I'd use this stuff. https://www.amsoil.com/storefront/atf.aspx

It has a vis of 7.6 at 100C, right between the two you mentioned.

It looks like you're already using Amsoil ATF in your other rigs.

id go with castrol import, used it for my buddy accord, works just fine

I'm using Castrol High Mileage in our 150k 1998 CRV and shifts are still as soft as cotton balls after 1 year.

Went w/ the Castrol Import bought 6 for $27.54 @ AAP and used there $10 off $25 or more coupon! Total w/ tax $18.60 thats $3.10 a quart, not a bad deal!

I'd go with Castrol High Mileage. Its good stuff. The castrol import is good to but with a car with as many miles as yours I'd go with the High Mileage.
