FYI: Had fuel injectors cleaned around the 33,000 miles.

These engines appear to perform well with 20wt oils. My sons 2016 GMC Denali has the 6.2 and uses M1 0-20EP at 10-14K OCIs. The vehicle has 72K on it now and runs great. Only problems he has had is the trans low speed clunk. It's been in the shop 3 times for this. The last time, they pulled the trans, but the clunk is still there, only much less evident. A friend has a 2014 Silverado with 110,000K and also uses M1 0-20EP at 10-12 OCIs and all is well.

Wow, 33,811 miles on the oil! Wait, no, the title was supposed to have 7,548 miles in it. Would have been more interesting at 33k miles for sure. Maybe a moderator can fix that. The high iron may be normal for that engine. Blackstone reports have the very handy Universal Averages for the engine type.

You could try a 5W30. It is what I would use of the vehicle was out of warranty. As a matter of fact I have used it while in warranty. It provides a bit more viscosity reserve.

Kind of what I was thinking....the viscosity on the latest Castrol 5W-20 seems low. Why the drop since the last use of the same oil? Did the fuel injector cleaning cause that?

Might want to edit that analysis, it has some personal info on it. Looks like the 5w-20s have done better than the 0w-20s, at least based on the iron wear. I would've expected the opposite. What's with the Titanium on those three Castrol samples? Is that an additive they use?
