Castrol dino vs syn. ?

Hi all, it's the "new guy" again. In Castrol's GTX and their syn. in their 5w30 is there any difference in these oils "cold flow"?
That as in an early morning winter start(15 degrees F. above 0).

Go to Castrol and look up their white papers for those oils and it will tell you.

Synthetic vs conventional 5w30 isn't really going to make any appreciable difference at temperatures of 15F.

I use conventional 5w30 here in -30C (-22F) in the winter. Sure, a synthetic 5w30 would be a little better at that temperature, but 5w30 conventionals work.

THX 02, are those "white sheets" in "english" or written in "engineer speak"? I looked at the Castrol USA site and I'm not sure what they call that information. Besides I like to get feedback from the "field".

Castrol's data sheets stink. The only list the minimum specs for the oil, not actual measurements. I think they formulate their oils to meet the bare minimum and no more.

It's not worth looking up, unless you are going to live in the Arctic/Antarctic.
