Someone else mentioned their very bad experience with a '78 Fiesta. Samo-o with my '80 German Ford Fiesta. Imported to US from '78-'80. Bad engine block, bad cylinder boring, blown radiator, etc., etc. All with Ford's generous 1980, 12 mo./12k mile total warranty.

I typically buy a 1-2 year old CPO and drive it for 6-8 years. Depreciation is my friend as it allows me to buy more entertaining cars for less money.

So I'm guessing the autos were the Caravan, Crosstrek and Rav 4? How'd you like your Saturn? I had a '94 SL manual everyone clowned it but I learned to love it.
Tundra. the Crosstrek was MT.

I bought the Saturn for my first wife and we divorced about a year later so I didn't get a lot of experience with it but she drove it for at least 5 years.
