Not Airweight vs Glock.

My money goes for the G19. Best pistol for the money and if the rumors are true they will soon be manufactured in the USA!

So Glocks are Dangerous? I hardly think that a 5.5 safe-action trigger pull is a "hair trigger" in anyones book. It is certainly heavier than any single action trigger pull that I have ever experienced. The idea that something is going to jump into a triggerguard and snag a trigger can be easily mitigated by reasonable care, training and a proper holster. Accidents can and do happen on rare ocassions. These accidents can happen to anyone with any type firearm. The only question that pops into my mind in ref to the dangerousness of Glocks is number of accidents as compared to other firearms. There are hundereds of thousands of glocks in the hands of people who carry them every day, if the glocks are unusually dangerous, where are all the accidents.

Ah you guys are hilarious. Practice firearms safety = not shooting yourself accidentally.

I carry a Glock. I have also had to draw it and point at at someone who wanted to harm me or others...and have not shot them, and have not shot myself. While this is not a good argument, my personal practice and training has provided the best use of the features and benefits of my particular firearm (Glock). If you need to have a DAO or revolver to make you feel safe, or to have 3 safeties that need to be disarmed before being able to fire, then be sure as [censored] you've practiced that should you need to use it.

Vote for the G26, and keep an extra mag with finger extension to feel the difference and comfortable range shooting. You can always buy a G19 later and share the mags
