I went to the Mazda dealer to buy a thermostat for the old Protege this past summer. The sealed box said Mazda, the the actual thermostat said Motorad right on it.

If you're actually wondering, Kuzeh makes the OEM Toyota thermostats. At least they did, and probably still do.

Toyota used to use Kuzeh, but it's now NTCL.

Wouldn't use Motorad but have used Superstats. They are better than the lower end Stants which are junk..

Oh yeah and it was one of my favorite places to go, everyone knew each other by name and where they worked, had a coffee pot, ashtray and a wood floor, great parts people too as they were usually family owned.
Much of the time they didn't need those books they knew the parts by heart. there is still one here in a small town nearby, the geezer is over 80 and still going and he still smokes the stogie behind the counter.
