Carquest HD filters by Baldwin?

Was looking on the advance auto site for filters, it shows the Red carquest line,Blue carquest premium,Then a heavy duty with HD at the end of the part number,they are made Baldwin,mostly for diesel engines or hydraulic lines,but they have them in pretty much all part numbers for gas engines. There around $8.00 for my application.

Anybody have any experience with them?

My friend who works in a municipal bus garage this is all they use for filters. Well built, excellent price. No issues in 5 years and they cut every single filter.

Baldwins are solid, well-made filters.

I've seen tons of diesel engines last for decades with a million miles (literally) and 10,000-20,000 hours, all while running on Baldwin filters.

BUT - - - now that Clarcor is at the helm, what can we expect should happen with Baldwin quality? Up, down... stay the same?!?!?
