Looks good. Only complaint is some rust on base plate crimp.

Looks good, media is pretty even. Can't say I've seen a rounded edge and silicone or maybe silicone colored gasket before.

As expected, looks good. You got the 24 version with the silicone sealing gasket. I got the 23 with nitrile, but that's ok nitrile has worked for me for decades. But, silicone a nice bonus. To what do you attribute the rust? You live in a road salt use area? To me, the CQ Premium the best value in PG made filters, more so with available 15% off online code.

Thanks for c&p.

I do live in a heavily salted area but the filter was installed in the spring after winter. My daughter did spend 3 weeks on the NC coast but not sure if salty air could cause this.

I agree. Best deal going!

Unless driven through salt water often during that time I wouldn't think 3 weeks on the NC coast alone would be responsible for the rust. Anyway, not bad enough to affect function. As an aside, I hope when you c&p the FE, you'll consider doing a flashlight test of the dome seal area as a part of it.

Will do. Also have an og titanium coming off my Outback with R&P in 2k miles.
