Canceled oil promo

Went to a local auto parts store today. (North Carolina) The manager is a friend, I was informed the July promo for oil was canceled. They were told to not put out the sales info for customers and they were not informed of the reason. So, supply chain issues???? Or price increases????? Time will tell..

Oil prices have been stupidly erratic. We get oil every week or every other week from our wholesaler depending on how much we go through. The prices we were paying hadnt changed in years. In the past 3 months its been a roller coaster, some weeks its up, others down. I do not do much business with Napa but they sent a note around about 2 weeks ago that they could no longer honor the oil prices in the june sales flyer because they were currently paying more than that price.
